Hello again, dear friends. It’s Jack, opening up a piece of my soul and inviting you to dream with me.
Most of you know about Harry Potter, right? If J.K. Rowling’s Deathly Hallows are the Elder Wand, Resurrection Stone, and Cloak of Invisibility, then have you ever wondered what the Lively Hallows might be?.
In my eyes, they would be:
Dreaming – The force of imagination, painting beautiful worlds of possibility with your colors
Love – The invisible thread that binds us
Memories – The echoes of our past, the moments that define us, filled with lessons, laughter and a bittersweet nostalgia.
Today, let’s dive into the magic of the first Hallow: Dreaming.
Dreaming sounds so simple at first, doesn’t it? But life has a way of pulling us away from our dreams.,as if life itself is telling us to stay grounded. Why? Because we’re tied to the real world and its routines, which keep us anchored to daily demands. Over time, it becomes a habit—a kind of addiction. Year by year, we fall deeper into the cycle, leaving little room for our dreams.
Yet dreaming is one of the greatest gifts life has to offer. Just think—when you dream, you enter a world that’s entirely your own. You can break the rules of reality, create new worlds, and shape your story any way you want. Isn’t that a kind of magic?
But don’t get me wrong—I’m not saying we should live only in our dreams. Dreams are meant to be brought to life. When we act on our dreams, we blend the magical with the real, creating a world that is truly ours, both inside and out.
As Shia LaBeouf famously said:
“Nothing is impossible. Make your dreams come true.”
I know from my bitter experience that sometimes, others might try to pull you away from your dreams, convincing you that they’re impossible or impractical. But here’s the secret: if you can dream it, it’s already a part of you, waiting to be lived.
R. Kelly’s song comes to mind:
“I believe I can fly, I believe I can touch the sky.”
So today, my message is simple: Keep dreaming, and never stop reaching for the stars. The world needs dreamers, and you’re one of them.
With all my dreams, stories, and a little bit of magic,
Jack
P.S. By the way, I’m dreaming of writing a screenplay and winning an Oscar one day. Will it happen? Who knows! But in my dreams…let’s just say I’m already practicing my acceptance speech! 😊
